“Metaphors,” an exhibition of four artists working in a surrealist aesthetic kicks off the second season of West Strand Art Gallery in Kingston’s Rondout. The show opens on May 7 and features work that explores the subconscious using the metaphors and narratives of our current cultural landscape, addressing issues such as gender and racial boundaries, emotional states of mind, and Jungian archetypes.
