Theater lovers, if you’ve been missing the live stuff during the long lockdowns: The Tivoli Players company will present their second production, “The Love Play,” at the town’s Monumental Lodge from May 12-15. Presented by Gryphon Pictures and directed by Willo Hausman, “The Love Play” is a collection of 10 vignettes, all of them written by local playwrights, and all of them set in the imaginary Unicorn Cafe: “Lucky Day” by Anthony R. Pezzula, “Boogie Woogie Cafe” by Elizabeth Henry, “The Unicorn Cafe” by Susan Geis, “Three Little Words” by Marian Fontana, “A Tale of Two Cupids” by Katherine Ambrosio, “A Promising First Date” by Sheldon Lichtblau, “Javawocky” by Richard Landers, “Only Fans” by Richard Gotti, “Love is Like a Butterfly” by Emma McCormack, and “Speed Dating for Unicorns” by Alexandra Angeloch.…
