Two decades after Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Mississippi, Waveland has regained much of its quiet coastal splendor. But signs of the storm are still visible throughout the city and the rest of the Gulf Coast, where residents continue to grapple with its aftereffects and the trauma they endured.
